The students of classes 6 – 8 went on a Leisure Trip to Jim Corbett and Nainital at the commencement of summer vacation. It was an unbelievably exciting trip that took the children to two of the most amazing and off beat tourist’s destinations of India. Drive from Faridabad to the Grand Corbett was quite exciting. Children explored the plush natural beauty and ancient temples of Nainital in Kumaon foothills. The Corbett safari was another attraction of the trip. The children unravelled the unspoiled beauty of the Corbett jungle and seized the glimpses of numerous flora and fauna. Game drive in open jeep safari vehicles was the best way to explore the pristine wilderness of the park. Children returned with the same excitement, carrying beautiful memories of the trip

MVN, Sector – 17 took Class – XI on a one day trip to Lohagarh Farms on 2nd December 2017. It was an entire day long fun filled extravaganza albeit with a rustic, native touch. City bred children had a taste of all what a North Indian Village has to offer. Children enjoyed bullock cart, tractor and camel rides. Gulli danda, gulel kancha, kite flying, tug of war, archery, darts, pottery etc. regaled the students. Rope bridge, rope climbing, mud bath, badminton, cricket, football and host of other outdoor and indoor activities made the day. Sumptuous breakfast, delicious lunch and yummy snacks were the added charm. Nestled in the foothills of the Aravalis, the sylvan setting of the premises exuding the clean and refreshing countryside air rendered the entire experience a memorable one.
The students of classes II to VII of MVN School, Sector 17 visited Kingdom of Dreams, Gurugram on December 2. KOD is India’s first live entertainment and leisure destination. In KOD, they got the glimpses of the Indian states under one roof. The most awaited part of the trip i.e. the theatre extravaganza- ‘Alice in Wonderland on ice’ presented by the Russian artists was mesmerizing. The day was funfilled and the students enjoyed the trip a lot.

The students of classes VI and VII visited Kingdom of Dreams on 2nd December 2017. It was a long awaited trip which rejuvenated the children. Children were mesmerised with the ambience of KOD. The world of KOD is created under a false roof which gives an illusion of a cloudy sky, where Indain fantasy comes alive. This fabulous kingdom brings to life a blend of India’s art, culture, heritage, crafts, cuisine and performing arts.
For children it was a fun filled trip away from school and home. Children not only enjoyed the journey but also felt excited while using their money cards judiciously in the shops. Children also learnt to look after their belongings away from the supervision of the parents.
There was a dance drama show specially for children - ‘Alice in wonderland’, on Ice, which was presented by the Russian artists. It was a three dimensional theatre show. Children were thrilled to watch strange creatures, breath taking acrobatics and ice skating. The acoustics, costumes and the ambience of the place are simply unmatched.
Then children were elated and mesmerised by the exciting show. They all came back with a lot of memories to fondly remember and relive in days to come.
