MODERN VIDYA NIKETAN SCHOOL, ARAVALI HILLS
The most successful event is the one, that achieves your goals and exceeds your expectation and MVN Aravali Hills scaled these chords by giving recently two mega successful events like Sporty Father and Star Quest where we tried to bridge the gap between the two vertices of school that is parents and management. Our enthusiastic fathers participated with fervor and child like streak in Football Matches conducted by us.
Star Quest was another mega event where the little buds from across the city (two to five years) were the stars ready to embrace the stage with their hidden talents. The icing on the cake was the presence of RJ Naved who escalated the exhilaration of our performers and their proud parents with his humorous stints.
Such events are held in MVN Aravali Hills from time to time as no school life can be considered complete without the perfect coordination of children, parents and school.

As the young scholars walked proudly across the stage, they carried with them not merely trophies and certificates, but dreams illuminated with promise and possibilities.
The felicitation ceremony at MVN Aravali Hills School thus became a glorious celebration of diligence, determination and the timeless pursuit of excellence.
"A mother is not just someone who gives life, but someone who teaches us how to live it with love and strength."
MVN Aravali Hills celebrated motherhood with a deeply touching and thoughtfully curated programme titled “Matratva – The Silent Strength Behind Every Smile.” Mothers of our students were warmly invited to be a part of this special occasion, which beautifully acknowledged their unconditional love, sacrifices, and quiet resilience.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr Neeta Bali, Director Academics MVN Schools , Vice Principal Ms. Mona Dua, Senior Coordinator Ms Manika Girdhar, and Rima Lal, Middle Wing Coordinator, all of whom thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the emotional essence of today's programme.
The event began with an enriching workshop on Effective Parenting conducted by Ms. Sarika Kumar, Clinical Psychologist, who addressed key aspects of parenting, adolescent challenges, and the importance of healthy communication between parents and children. Her session, supported by an engaging PowerPoint presentation and short videos, was followed by an interactive Question-and-Answer segment. The enthusiastic participation of mothers reflected the relevance and impact of the discussion.
This was followed by a soulful cultural presentation by the talented students of Class VII A, who conceptualised the programme with sensitivity and depth. A PPT highlighting the bond between mothers and children set the tone for a series of meaningful performances that included dances, poems, skits, speeches, and music.
One of the highlights was the creative launch of the Mother's App – Love and Care, where students humorously yet emotionally presented features such as Auto-Cook Mode, Midnight Care Mode, Homework Helper Mode, Mood Lifter Mode, Motivation Mode, Unlimited Love Mode, and Silent Sacrifice Mode. The segment beautifully conveyed that while technology may evolve, no AI or technology can ever replace a mother's love and selfless care.
The programme also featured expressive dance performances by the students of Classes VII D and VI F, impactful skits like 'Lado' and 'Baghban' culminating in the message of Nari Shakti, heartfelt poems, thoughtful speeches, and melodious musical performances. A Teachers’ Award presentation and special song performances by our Music Mentors Rahul sir and Amit sir added warmth and gratitude to the celebration.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Neeta Bali spoke about the irreplaceable role of mothers and gently reminded them to cherish the present, take time for themselves, and embrace life beyond constant worry, as children eventually grow up and step into their own journeys. Ms. Rima Lal emphasised the invaluable contribution of mothers in shaping confident, compassionate individuals, while Ms. Manika Giridhar expressed the valuable insights about the new age relationship bonds between the mothers and their children also expressing her gratitude for their unwavering support .
Overall, Matratva was not just an event but an experience—one that blended emotion, creativity, values, and gratitude. It touched every heart present and left the mothers feeling honoured, appreciated, and deeply connected.
"Technology may shape the future, but it is a mother's love that shapes humanity."
At MVN Aravali Hills, Earth Day was not merely observed—it blossomed into a celebration of awareness, responsibility and hope across every classroom.
Kindergarten nurtured creativity through vibrant crafts and clay modelling, where tiny hands shaped big dreams for the planet, learning that even the smallest gesture can hold the power to heal the Earth.
Primary Classes (I–V) explored sustainability through potter’s wheel activities and nature walks, as young minds discovered the rhythm of the soil and the quiet wisdom of trees, building a bond with nature that words often fail to express.
Middle Wing (VI–VIII) stepped forward as young custodians of the Earth by planting saplings, designing impactful posters and creating terrariums and herbariums—each effort a gentle promise to protect, preserve and respect the delicate balance of life.
Secondary Wing (IX–X) raised their voices through thought-provoking debates and compelling street plays, transforming awareness into action and igniting a collective conscience towards urgent environmental concerns.
In every corner of the school, a seed of responsibility was sown— a reminder that the Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth.
Let this not be a day of celebration alone, but a lifelong commitment - to care deeper, act wiser and live greener.
The school solemnly observed Shradhanjali Diwas on 19 December to honour its revered founder, Shri Gopal Sharma Sir. The occasion reflected deep gratitude as the school community remembered his visionary leadership and enduring legacy. Students marked the day through meaningful activities under the theme ‘25 Glorious Years of MVN Aravali Hills’. They engaged in a plantation drive, designing vertical gardens and eco-friendly wreaths symbolising responsibility and hope for a sustainable future.
Our kindergarten classrooms were filled with excitement, pride, and plenty of smiles as we celebrated Portfolio Day — a special event highlighting each child’s unique learning journey. This day provided families with a window into their child’s growth, creativity and discoveries. Parents were delighted to see how their children’s skills had blossomed. The children took center stage as they guided their parents through their portfolios, explaining their favorite pieces with confidence and joy. It was heartwarming to watch their faces light up as they shared stories behind their drawings.
Portfolio Day was not just a display of work — it was a celebration of each child’s unique voice, growth, and enthusiasm for learning. Together, we’re nurturing confident, curious, and creative learners — one portfolio at a time.
The school offers meaningful Internship Programmes that connect classroom learning with real-world experience. Commerce students completed a month-long internship with the Navjyoti India Foundation, founded by Kiran Bedi, working on sustainable creations and a water audit. Students also volunteered with Together We Will, engaging children through creative learning and life skills activities.
Additionally, Non-Medical students gained valuable corporate exposure through a summer internship at Roinet Solutions, Gurgaon. These experiences nurtured social awareness, practical skills and career readiness, preparing students to become responsible global citizens.
The school organised the ‘Read–Research–Reflect’ programme for students of Classes IV–VIII, encouraging learning beyond textbooks.
Students explored assigned topics through reading and research and presented their ideas through PowerPoint presentations, building confidence and teamwork. The best teams advanced to an inter-class presentation, making the experience engaging and competitive. The programme strengthened reading, research and presentation skills, helping students grow into confident learners.
