2009 – Gopal Sharma Modern Vidya Niketan School, Khambi(Charitable School)

Modern Vidya Niketan Education Society started a Charitable School ‘Gopal Sharma Modern Vidya Niketan' at Khambi, Palwal, Haryana in Dec 2009. Our founder Principal late Shri Gopal Sharma sir believed in the adage ‘When God blesses you financially, don't raise your standard of living, raise your standard of giving '. He firmly believed that ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which one can use to change the world’. Built-in memory of Late Shri Gopal Sharma, the school imparts free education to underprivileged children. The School provides its students with free books and uniforms and an environment that allows their multifaceted growth and development. The School started with a handful of students but now it boasts of a generous strength of 273 students and 10 teachers. The academic program aims at the holistic development of the child. The school has helped the children who were otherwise not able to gain a proper education in the conventional education environment. The school nurtures the students and inculcates responsibilities and values so that they can develop their talents and abilities to the fullest. The lush green surroundings enable the students to learn new concepts with a fresh mind. The school aims at building an integrated personality that is the harmonious balance of our body, our thought, and our aspirations, which help a person to realize his/her own unique potential. It helps in enabling the child to develop as a social being through living and co-operating with others and thus contribute to the good of society. The curriculum is designed to nurture the child in all dimensions of his or her life-spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic, social, and physical.
