A special assembly to commemorate the birth anniversary or the earthly arrival of Lord Krishna was presented by Class VII A and VIII B on 23rd August'19. The birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm all over India.The story of the birth of Krishna and other interesting episodes from the life of Krishna were narrated by the students. A shlok from the Bhagwadgeeta and a poem reflecting the purpose of Krishna's reincarnation in human form were also recited by the children. The assembly could not be complete without the Raas Leela or the Raas dance. The children dressed as Krishna, Radha and gopies presented a scintillating dance performance.
The assembly concluded with a thought provoking message from the co-ordinator Ms. Jaya Sharma wherein she told the students to imbibe the teachings of Krishna in their lives in order to be ideal human beings.
