Students of MVN School, Sec-88 got an opportunity to spend time with the special children of the ‘Vivekananda Divyang School’ at Dabua Colony. The positive interaction with the specially abled children helped the students realize that they too need to be included in the main strata of the society. The students were thrilled to learn about their learning methodology. The children enthusiastically distributed sweets, apples, stationery material with them. The students performed a song on happiness for these children.
This learning experience gave our children a platform to build a bond with the specially abled children. They even danced together and gave the specially abled children an assurance that they are no less than others.
To mark this special day the children took an initiative to plant trees in the school campus. This laid stress on the need to ‘Go green’ and shun the use of plastics.
This day will be itched in the memory of all students for years to come. Our students pledged to be of use to these specially abled children and try to bring about a smile on their faces.
